Somerset Bus Partnership campaigns for better bus services in Somerset.
We also encourage people to go by bus .. and thereby help save the planet!

Set up and run by a group of volunteers, Somerset Bus Partnership now has the support of 150 representatives from across Somerset. And also has 12 bus user groups based in the larger towns.

 

There are lots of ways you can campaign for better buses in Somerset whether individually or through your organisation:
 

  • Sign up for our Somerset Bus Partnership email updates (Click here and enter your email on the form and press submit). 
     

  • Follow Somerset Bus Partnership on Facebook or Twitter. Like our social media posts and, most especially, spread the word by sharing our posts on some of your local Facebook pages.
     

  • Join one of our Zoom meetings, we have around 5 a year. When there’s an upcoming meeting, this will be displayed prominently on our home page and on social media. We’ll of course send information about the meeting to those who’ve already registered for email updates.
     

  • Become one of our local buc champions for Somerset Bus Partnership. We’d love to have even more local bus champion (especially for your area). For more information, click here.

Become a keyboard warrior for buses in Somerset.

We invite you to email your local councillors and MPs to tell them just how important public transport is to you and your neighbourhood. The more councillors get letters and emails about buses, the more likely they’ll insist on seeing improved bus services in Somerset.

Local Organisations and Community Groups

We are currently building our connections with organisations and community groups across Somerset. We have links with CPRE and other organisations. If your organisation would like to work together with Somerset Bus Partnership to improve public transport in Somerset do get in touch.
