2022 saw the first year Bus Users UK hosted the 'Catch The Bus Month' campaign. Somerset Bus Partnership has taken part in Catch The Bus Month in 2022, 2023, 2024.

We are have held the most events for Catch The Bus Month than any other organisation in the UK.

We look forward to taking part in 2025!

Take part in the Somerset Bus Selfie Challenge this September for your chance to win a prize by simply sharing a selfie from your bus journey!

Take a selfie while travelling on a local bus service in Somerset.

 

Share it on Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook or Bluesky using the hashtag:

In your post, tell us something fun or interesting about your journey:

Favourite route, a scenic view, a great driver, or a memorable moment.

 

Be creative! Scenic routes, fun bus facts, or highlighting your local services will help your entry stand out.

 

🏆 Prizes

A weekly winner will be selected during Catch the Bus Month.

 

Winners will receive a small prize such as a travel voucher, local gift, or eco-friendly merchandise.

 

At the end of the campaign, a grand prize winner may be chosen from all entries.

The competition runs from September 1 to September 30 2025.

1. Selfies must be taken on board a public bus in Somerset.

2. Ensure your photo respects the privacy of other passengers—ask permission if someone else is clearly visible.

3. Only one entry per day per person, but multiple entries across the month are encouraged.

 

📌 Terms & Conditions

1. By entering, you give permission for your image/post to be re-shared by Somerset Bus Partnership and campaign partners for promotional purposes.

2. Winners will be contacted via the platform they entered on.

3. Open to UK residents aged 13+. Under-18s must have parent/guardian consent.

4. No purchase necessary. Prize has no cash alternative.

5. Somerset Bus Partnership reserves the right to withdraw or modify the competition at any time.
